A win for senior night

EHS volleyball team won their Senior Night game October 18 against Providence.

The final score was 3-2, allowing the Wildcats to finish their season with an overall record of 29-7. Senior night was a public way for the team to show their appreciation for the seniors and for the seniors to enjoy their last game with their teammates.

Mikaela Grubb, a senior middle hitter, said that she was grateful for the opportunity to play with an amazing group of girls.

“I love playing volleyball and the game was better because I got to play with my friends with,” said Mikaela Grubb.

Underclassman on the team look up to the seniors as role models and inspiration to be a better player.  

“ [The seniors] have been great teachers and helpful… [the team] is gonna miss and love them,” said sophomore Mikyla Wood.

The volleyball coaches, Mrs. Wiggins and Mrs. Moore, are proud of the 2018 team and seniors and are excited to see what will be in store for the graduating seniors.
