Enterprise defeats Carroll
The EHS Varsity Basketball team took on the Carroll Eagles November 30 at an away in-school game.
The Cats started out the game in a bit of a pinch as the Eagles took the lead.
Both teams then quickly entered into a scoring tug of war, which heightened an already pressure-filled game for the Eagles, whose whole student body was watching them.
However, EHS was not unsupported, as enough EHS fans arrived to fill a whole section of the bleachers in the Eagles’ gym.
As the second quartered neared, the Cats showed their prowess by raising their level of play.
“Even though we were behind in the beginning, it was great to see the team gradually pull together throughout the game “ Joshua McCray said.
Junior Dallas Howell led the team with a total of 14 points.
“It was just a great atmosphere to play in when you have all that support from people checking out to come to watch. It really gives the game energy and makes it really fun to play,“ Dallas Howell said.
The cats wrapped up the game winning by a landslide 66-37!
