Halloween is a scary good time

A night of frights;

Of tricks or treats. 

Turn off the lights

And gather in the streets. 

Get out your buckets, 

Round up the kids.

Tonight, we’re causing a ruckus

And soon, the fun begins.

Put on your wig

Get out of your house.

The neighbor’s treats are rigged 

And the air is filled with shouts.

Careful what you see

For it could be fake.

You might hear a plea

And your breath it will take. 

This is our night to be free.

We can be what we want

And I think we can all agree

Today is a work of art. 

Forget your life for just one night,

Where you can scare or scream

Maybe glow with some light

Or dress to the extreme. 

This is all about us

And who we can fright. 

So come join the fuss

On Halloween night.
