Enterprise choirs serenade the city

The Enterprise City School choirs hosted the annual Sounds of Enterprise concert that has serenaded the citizens of Enterprise for many years.

The concert consists of the elementary schools’ choirs, Expressions, Esprit, and Encores as well as the Big Blue Band.

This concert is a great way to bring the community together and show support for the choirs.

“This concert brings everyone together and we all sing together as a family,” Encores Dance Captain Haylie Eades said.

The Enterprise High School Choral Department rehearsed for weeks to prepare for the event.

“The audience gets to enjoy what each school in Coffee County has to offer musically all in the same night,” Enterprise Encores Alto Captain Morgan Fisher said.

Director of the Coppinville Junior High choir, Liz Donaldson, led the group in their performance followed by the Dauphin Junior High choir directed by Blane Freeman.

The Enterprise Expressions, which includes students from Coppinville and Dauphin, spiced up the night with their performance of “Something Just Like This.”

Directed by Cameron Weiler, the Enterprise High School choirs wrapped up the show with their performance of “Freedom Train.”

The Enterprise High School Performing Arts Center was filled with family and friends in support of the talented groups.
