Enterprise takes Dothan High

A capacity crowd showed up August 25, 2017 to welcome the beginning of another football season at Wildcat stadium.

The EHS Wildcats have a seasoned returning offense lead by Koty Fulton-Tice and Chance Warren.

The defense is young and lacks the field experience that the offense does, but is hungry and aggressive with young play makers.

The Enterprise Wildcats have the makings for a great season this year, and started the season by facing one of their biggest rivals, the Dothan Tigers.

Enterprise struck first after struggling in the red zone with a field goal to jump out to an early lead. The EHS run game was effective the first half, and at halftime the Wildcats led the Tigers 17 – 0

Dothan came out in the second half with an aggressive run game of their own lead by their quarterback and was trailing 10-17 going into the 4th quarter.

Although the Wildcat offense was able to score again, it was the young defense that made big plays to clinch the win with the final score 24-17. Go Cats!

“It’s a great feeling to have gone through my high school career without losing to Dothan high, so that is our goal against Northview.” said Chance Warren.
