EHS crowns Payne homecoming queen

Enterprise High School crowned the 2017 Homecoming Queen Sept. 15 and recognized members of her court.

The following students were nominated by their peers to be on Homecoming Court: freshman attendant Kamira Cooper, sophomore attendant Ashley Clarke, junior attendant Maddie Gray, Homecoming Queen Anna Beth Payne, senior attendant Cassandra Thomas, and senior attendant Claudia Moore.

Anna Beth Payne said, “It was an unexpected and tremendous honor to be voted Homecoming Queen. I am so proud to be a student at Enterprise High School,and I will cherish this recognition forever.”

Freshmen Attendant Kamira Cooper said, “ I was nervous at first, but then I realized there was nothing to be nervous about because people look up to me now; and not only am I  representing my class and school, but I am representing the city of Enterprise and have to continue to stay on top of things.”

Junior Attendant Maddie Gray said, “ I was honored to be chosen by my classmates, and it was something I will never forget.”

Being nominated on the Homecoming court is an honor all members will cherish.
