We are now finishing the first nine weeks at EHS, and it has seemed to go by in an instant.

It is common for students to feel stressed, especially at the beginning of the school year, as each pupil acclimates to the hectic first semester.

It is true, each individual student has a lot to think about: homework, the ACT, sports, even drama inside the school.

Unfortunately, it is often easy for students to slack off once they hit this mid-way point, but students must resist the urge. Instead, students should use this time to finish assignments and to continue to prepare for the future.

What makes a good student is their ability to handle every task on time, no matter how daunting. It is never fun to open INOW and think you are going to see perfect grades, only to be shocked by what you see.

How many students here at EHS make the most of their time? Chances are that many students fall well below the line of being productive. Turning this problem around can be a challenging yet incredibly rewarding task.

Take time during the school day to not only improve school work, but also to make a friend. You never know, that person could become your best friend or even a study buddy.

Our message for this issue is to strive to make the absolute most of your time. Every person in the world is limited by a finite amount of time, so why not make the most of it?
