Note from the editors
During this part of the year many people take time to be thankful for all that they have.
Often it is easy to recognize one’s blessing during the holidays, but what is truly more important is being thankful everyday.
Why is it so hard to stop and give thanks throughout the year, but it is so easy around the holidays?
Throughout the year, it is easy to get caught up with assignments, activities, and daily duties and forget all the blessings you have. We have much more to be thankful for than we realize.
Even the smallest moments can be easily taken for granted, a smile in the hallway, a compliment from a stranger, a full tank of gas, and even just finding a penny on the ground.
However, giving thanks is much easier than you think and can many times mean more than any of us realize.
Teachers are a huge asset to us as students, and they often go unnoticed. If a peer gives a teacher a hard time or a teacher helps you out of their own time, take time out of class and thank the teacher.
No matter small or big, we all have something to be thankful for, and we should not let these blessings go unnoticed.
We hope you have a great Thanksgiving break and find time to think about all the blessings in your life.
