Students at EHS celebrate Halloween
On Thursday, October 26, students at EHS dressed up for an amazing Halloween themed pep rally.
Halloween day is a day in which students can really show off their artistic and styling skills by dressing up in ways that can scare anyone.
Some students, such as Trent Distelhorst, loved the creativity of many costumes. Distelhorst said, “Creativity at EHS was very good.”
There were many characters present with blood and wounds that seemed realistic, proving they were very well done. Students dressed in many exotic costumes, including horror themes and even dinosaurs.
Distelhorst said, “Walking through the hallway I saw about four people in dinosaur costumes, which is crazy because how is anyone able to stay in one of those in class?”
Students that day may have dressed up in costumes that reduced mobility through the halls, but the costumes were attention-grabbing and fun.
The creativity and passion for Halloween was greatly shown at EHS.
Due to last year’s clown activity, the school banned clown costumes for the safety of students and teachers at the school.
Guerimo, a student at EHS, stated, “ The restrictions limited many things, so it could have been better.”
Many students agreed that the rules somewhat limited creativity but also noted that safety is an important factor.
EHS is a school that lets students expose their creative side through Halloween culture, which is in fact a great way to have fun. This year’s Halloween was a bit smaller than last year’s, but still an amazing day to be at school.
