
Wildcats host first home meet
The EHS cross country team competed in the Wildcat Classic September 15th, where the boys and girls teams attended their first ever team held race.
In the girls two- mile race Julianna Gingrich came in 3rd with a time of 15:21, and Samantha Segura came in 11th with a time of 17:04.
In the boys two- mile race Conner Alien came in 5th with a time of 13:05, Joshua Rickets in 9th with a time of 13:33, Jace Himes in 11th with a time of 13:45, and Niko Gottlick in 15th with a time of 14:15.
In the girls varsity 5k, Jill Fassl came in 10th place with a time of 21:50, Natalie Warner in 15th with a time of 22:25, Jordan Colacicco in 18th with a time of 22:52, and Laura Patterson in 20th with a time of 23:27.
In the boys varsity 5k, Evan Crawford came in 2nd with a time of 17:05, Matt Watson in 8th with a time of 17:58, Jack Brockman in 10th with a time of 18:07, Henry Templin in 14th with a time of 18:22, Tyler Rathburn in 17th with a time of 18:33, Josh VonEschenbach in 19th with a time of 18:50, and Cristian Caban -Woodham with a time of 19:10.
The 2018 cross country team is showing great potential for the end results of the season.
Coaches Chris and Christina Rodgers successfully organized their first home meet to kick off the start of the season and are looking forward to the next race.
