CC competes in Jesse Owens Classic

The EHS cross country team competed in the annual Jesse Owens Classic  October 6, where the boys received 12th and girls team, 14th.

In the girls silver race Kayleigh Riordan came in 79th with a time of 22:27; Britney Pacheo came in 144th with a time of 23:50; Samantha Segura came in 212th with a time of 26:01; and Ansley Flowers came in 215th with a time of 26:11.

In the boys silver race Christian Caban came in 60th with a time of 18:01; Josh VonEschenbach in 72nd with a time of 18:11; and Josh Sproul in 74th with a time of 18:12.

In the girls gold race, Jill Fassl came in 80th with a time of 20:52; Natalie Warner in 103rd  with a time of 21:21; Laura Patterson in 133rd with a time of 22:05; and Jordan Colaciccio in 136th with a time of 22:11.

In the boys gold 5k, Evan Crawford came in 19th with a time of 16:26; Josh Crawford in 108th with a time of 17:39; Henry Templin in 123rd with a time of 17:47; Fletcher Curtis in 155th with a time of 18:09.19 and Jack Brockman in 157th with a time of 18.09.46.

The Annual Jesse Owens meet went well for the Enterprise High cross country team. Coaches Chris and Christina Rodgers are looking forward to attending the same course later in the season for the state meet.
