ECTC hosts haunted house
Enterprise Career Tech Center hosted a haunted house October 12 and 13 in the basement of ECTC, the former home of College Street Elementary School.
The event lasted from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM both nights. They sold cotton candy, popcorn, and sodas. There were also games for children twelve and under like ring the bottle.
The haunted house featured students from EHS and ESCC as scarers.
The event took place in the basement with many different rooms. Some of the rooms included a bloody kitchen, a haunted classroom, and a nurse station.
“It was fun and I would definitely go through it again.” Moné Lewis, student scarer at EHS, who also went through the haunted house said.
She also went on to say, “It was fun scaring people and hearing them scream, especially the grown-ups.”
“For $10 it was a good price for something in our area,” Bailey Hodge, EHS senior, said.
“Now that I think about it, I was scared. I was more of caught off guard,” Gwendolyn Mitchell, EHS senior basketball player, said when asked if she was scared during the haunted house.
The proceeds benefited the restoration of the career center for the 100-year celebration.
