Book of the Issue

The World of Pooh, written by A. A. Milne and illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard is a compilation of the stories that embody the iconic childhood character, Winnie the Pooh.

This book is an excellent read for the holidays due to its nostalgic connotation, fitting these upcoming times of joy and family.

The first of the two included pieces is Winnie-the-Pooh, kicking off a reminiscent reunion with the beloved Pooh bear.

You and your family get to follow along as the exuberant adventures with Winnie-the-Pooh unfold.

The second of the two stories is The House At Pooh Corner.

Continuing through this part of the book allows for the reader to delve into more of Pooh’s extensive wisdom, though Pooh himself may not realize the extent.

These stories can be enjoyed around a bonfire or in a cozy sitting room with family members of all ages, making it a great way to bring everyone together in the spirit of the holidays.

The pleasant remembrances brought about by Pooh and his friends will hopefully shine a soft light into the gloomy nights of winter for whoever reads it.

The reader of The World of Pooh may even say, as Christopher Robin said, “Yes, I remember!”
