EHS hosts Chocolate Walk

HOSA hosted a chocolate walk December 8.

The event is a fundraiser held every year in downtown Enterprise.

The downtown stores participating each have a chocolate candy item to give the participants. Once going in the store, participants receive the chocolate item, and the store is then crossed off the participant’s ticket.

Seventeen of the stores downtown participated this year, giving each ticket holder a delicious treat of the store’s choosing.

Each store selects a distinctive treat, including, candy, brownies, and more. In 2017 The Olive Fruit provided a blood orange infused brownie.

Amy Johnson, HOSA Meetings Executive, said, “Our Chocolate Walk event is one of my favorites for getting our members involved in the community and be at the heart of a downtown event.”

The proceeds benefit future meetings and members who compete at the State Leadership Conference in February.

The proceeds also benefit competitors who reach the International Leadership Conference in June.
