
EHS kicks off their football season
Determined to have a successful year, the EHS football team is working hard on their weaknesses and playing to their strengths.
Offensive lineman and captain of the Miami game Micheal Cox said “We practice three hours a day to achieve the goal of [winning the] state championship.”
The Wildcats played North Miami Chargers for their season opener.
Wingback Mykel Johnso made a 66 yard touchdown with 11:44 left in the first quarter, but disappointingly Enterprise lost the game by a score of 34-31.
The Wildcats also lost September 6 to the Auburn Tigers .
Despite the losses of the Miami and Auburn games, the Enterprise Wildcats have not lost their drive to win.
The Wildcats won August 30 over the Trojans with a score of 50-22.
Cox said,“The strengths that I have seen in the past three games [include] the fact that when we played we fought for each other.”
With strength and boldness, the Wildcats believe that they will make the season a success.
