Where do you stand?
Watching Halloween movies is a favorite autumn pastime shared mostly teenagers and young adults.
Movies such as “Hocus Pocus” and “Scream” top the box office charts, but the question of which Halloween movie is the best still remains.
“Nightmare Before Christmas” is popular amongst the student body. Seniors KD McCray and Kiana Sargent, sophomore Lauren Rodgers, and freshman Joshua Kay all said that movie is their favorite.
“’Hush’ is good,” junior Kailey Pool said. “Psychological thrillers like ‘Split’ are scarier than actual horror movies I feel because they make you think it’s actually possible in real life.”
“’It 2′. I’m scared [to death] of clowns. That’s the only thing that scares me,” junior Ryan Smith said.
“I say ‘The Exorcist’, but I don’t really watch a lot,” junior Kaylin Cichoki said.
“Any of the ‘Hallowentown’ [movies are good],” junior Kayleigh Riordan said.
“’Friday the 13th’ [is the best],” freshman Brett Ravenscraft said.
“[My favorite] would have to be ‘Annabelle’, it’s so good,” senior Kaitlin Price said.
“The best Halloween movie in my opinion has got to be ‘Halloween’; the original [is] my favorite,” senior Matthew Caylor said.
