Cookies for Santa
Christmas time is nearing, and I have the perfect recipe to spread holiday cheer!
For this recipe, you will need only four simple ingredients.
Go to one of your local grocery stores and grab eggs, red velvet cake mix, powdered sugar, and vegetable oil.
These fluffy cookies call for 2 eggs, the cake mix, ⅓ cup of vegetable oil, and powdered sugar to roll your cookies in before laying them on your baking sheet.
First, you will pour your cake mix into a non-stick bowl.
The consistency of the cookies gets thick, so this is very important.
Next, you will add your 2 eggs and ⅓ cup of vegetable oil into the bowl.
Make sure to stir the mixture thoroughly.
Grab a spoon or an ice cream scooper to create the ball shape for your cookies, dip the ball of dough in powdered sugar making sure it is covered completely.
To ensure your cookies will not stick or burn at the bottom, use wax paper instead of aluminum foil.
Pop your cookies filled with holiday cheer in the oven on 375 degrees and let them cook for 6 minutes.
Let them cool, and enjoy!
~p.s. if you want to spice it up, add a frosting of your choice in the middle of two cookies 🙂
