Students give their advice

The new semester starts and registration begins, leaving students in stressful conditions not knowing how to handle the new classes on their schedule or what classes to schedule for next year.

Many students stress about what classes they want to take and how well they would do in them, and others are already in classes that they’re struggling in; but never fear, it’s only the beginning of the semester, and your grades can be saved by a couple of tips.

When asked about difficult classes students jump at the opportunity to give their advice.

Freshman Ashlynn Wallace said, “Be prepared and don’t expect to get away without doing your homework,” giving her advice on Geometry.

Junior Diamonique Cladwell said, “Make a class group chat, and whenever you get group projects make a smaller group chat and make up ideas and plans to meet up,” giving her advice on American Studies, where, communication is key!

Senior Caleb Reichbaum said, “When you are assigned a book read a page a day no matter what if you get off pace it’s hard to get yourself back on track,” using his experiences from AP literature to guide others contemplating taking AP lit, or for people who are already in it.

Though the start of classes may seem tough, the end result of hard work is usually a good grade.
