Talent show takes the stage

This year’s talent show will be held on March 13 at 6 p.m., and the entry will be $5 pay at the door.

The talent show is used to raise money for the Psych and Drama clubs, although a majority of the money goes into producing the show itself and the prizes for the winners. The first place winner will receive a $150 prize, and the second place winner will receive a $100 prize.

The talent show has been a creative outlet for students since it began in 2012, allowing them to showcase their talents to an audience; it’s a positive way to allow students to impress and inspire each other.

The show improves every year because the groups organizing it take into account the lessons they learned from previous years, proving for a better show the following year.
One of the teachers putting together the talent show and head of the Psych Club, Mrs. Taylor said, “We have a lot of talented kids in the show this year. It will be a tough competition. In fact, every year is tough. Everyone is usually very good. I am glad I am not a judge. You never know what will happen, and every year we just love that the audience gets a peek at what gifted students we have.”
